Dr. Tuan Pham

 

Learn how Tuan Pham, the creator of the Dental Maverick program and this summit, has helped dentists turn their practices around –  many doubling their numbers.

Tuan Pham is the creator of Dental Maverick Summit and the Dental Maverick program which is an online training program designed to teach dentists leadership, management and communication skills. He’s a practicing dentist in Austin, Texas and in addition to being published online and in print media, has authored two books titled: Success, Profitability & Destiny Beings With You and Dental Systems Manual.

Dr. Leonard Tau

After purchasing his practice the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Excellence in Philadelphia in 2007, Dr. Leonard Tau solely used the power of the internet to help grow his new patient base and went against the traditional way of marketing one’s dental office.  He lectures nationally and internationally on internet marketing, social media and reputation marketing and its ability to make your dental office more visible and credible.  He is also the General Manager of the Dental Division for Birdeye a reputation marketing platform and founder of iSocial Digital a consulting firm that helps dentists develop a comprehensive online marketing plan.  His content-rich, engaging seminars allow him to bring his first-hand experiences to his audiences.

 

Dr. Erin Elliott

Dr. Erin Elliott grew up in Southern California but went away to a small NAIA school in Western New York where she played collegiate soccer and graduated summa cum laude from Houghton College. After Creighton Dental School, she settled in North Idaho to begin her general dentistry career. She has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine and Short Term Orthodontics (Six Month Smiles). She has lectured extensively on this topic and loves to help general dentists extend this life-saving service to their patients. She is an active member of her local American Dental Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is the past president and a diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. She’s teaching sleep apnea with 3D-Dentists and Dr. Tarun Agarwal as well as private coaching practices about sleep

 

Wendy Briggs, RDH

Wendy Briggs is a registered Dental Hygienist with more than 25 years of experience.  For more than 16 years Wendy has helped thousands of dentists take control of their practice and uncover millions of dollars of unseen/untapped revenue by serving their patients at a higher level.  Production is never the goal, it’s the result of taking great care of our patients. She has consulted with more than 3,718 dental practices in 12 countries.  She is a published author who has been featured in virtually every dental publication and has lectured for and consulted with many of the top leaders in the industry. In addition to her managerial expertise, Wendy has one of the most highly regarded hygiene and Periodontal programs in the industry. Dental Service Organizations and privately owned practices soar when they adopt her protocol.

Dr. Christopher Phelps

 

Dr. Christopher Phelps is an entrepreneur, general dentist, and an amazon best-selling author who practices in Charlotte NC.  In his first 7 years of practice he grew the revenue of his practices by a factor of 10X, going from 1 practice location to 4 locations.  After selling two of those offices for profit, Dr. Phelps focused on maximizing the capacity of his remaining 2 practices and had 2 consecutive years of $1,000,000 revenue growth at Each of the two practices, effectively collecting with 2 offices what he had collected when he owned 4 offices.  A major part of this success was the Call Tracker ROI program he developed out of his own marketing needs and issues.  With it, he was able to increase his new patient numbers from 60/month to averaging over 300/month; all the while decreasing his marketing expenses by 74%.  In 2016 he launched Golden Goose Scheduling to help practices answer and schedule more new patient calls so they didn’t have to pay more in marketing money to get them.   

In 2016, out of 6000 dentists who were nominated across the US, Dr. Phelps was selected as the Doctor’s Choice National Dental award winner.  In addition, to being a Kolbe Certified Trainer, a key opinion leader to several large dental companies & understanding how to get new patients in the door, Dr. Phelps is also an expert in the Science of Influence and Ethical Persuasion.  He has studied under the Authority in this field, Dr. Robert Cialdini and, out of the thousands of people who apply yearly, was one of only two selected and awarded the title of Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT). Dr. Vince Linz

 

Learn how Vince Linz started with nothing, and with careful investing, became debt-free and financially independent before age 50.

With no outside financial support, Vince funded his dental education and his scratch-start dental practice with student- and bank loans.  After growing his solo practice to a comfortable (~75th percentile) net income, he began studying investing, both independently and at the university level, focusing on risk-averse concepts. Before age 50, he had reached financial critical mass, the point at which investment income exceeds practice income.  As a result of his investment success, Vince was then asked to join Losch Management Company, LLC, a Florida Registered Investment Advisor, where he now serves as Chief Investment Officer.

MIKE BARK, CPA CVA

Mike is a founding partner at Bull Moose Financial and has more than 20 years of accounting and tax experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst and earned a Master’s Degree in Taxation. The primary industry he focuses on is Dentistry and he’s a member of the Institute of Dental CPA’s and a moderator on the Dental Town website. He’s been a guest on Howard Farran’s podcast and The Dental Heroes podcast hosted by Dr. Paul Etchison. Mike is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPA’s Federal and State Taxation committees.

Mike’s specialties are tax planning, business planning and practice transitions. He’s assisted on countless buy-ins and buy-outs and has performed over 150 practice valuations.

In his downtime, Mike spends time with his wife and four sons. As an avid baseball fan and former catcher he is determined to visit all 30 stadiums. He’s also a big music fan and has seen his favorite bands live hundreds of times.

 

Dr. David J. Ahearn

Design Ergonomics Founder

Dr. David Ahearn is first and foremost a full time practicing dentist whose offices rank among the nation’s most productive practices. Trained at the University of Michigan, Dr. Ahearn’s discovery of the Toyota Production LEAN Principles and the subsequent application of them to dentistry began a quality and productivity revolution that is at the heart of his design work. Subsequently, he is the founder of Design/Ergonomics, the nation’s largest independent dental office design firm, Ergonomic-Products, a manufacturer of high-productivity, ergonomically sound dental equipment, and Reboot Training, clinical consultants dedicated to maximizing practice productivity. Combined, his companies work with doctors across North America to design, equip and train comfortable, productive and highly cost effective practices.  

Dr. Ahearn has held faculty positions at both the University of Michigan and NYU’s College of Dentistry, and was a founding member of the ADA’s Ergonomics Subcommittee. He is a frequent lecturer and contributor to numerous dental publications, including multiple chapters in the ADA’s current Practical Guide to Dental Office Design.

 

Rob Bay

Who here can’t find the information that they want in their practice management software? I use Open Dental which is fantastic PMS. However, I never know where to find information. Reports/Queries/Custom queries?? Now what? What do I do with these numbers?
I want CHARTS, GRAPHS and percentages. I want the info laid out in the simplest terms so that I CAN SEE THE BLINDSPOTS and ISSUES in my practice and SOLVE THEM.
